Welcome!

We are glad that you found us here on the web, and would love to have you join us on Sunday mornings for Sunday School at 9:45 am and worship at 10:50 am. It is our belief that you will find at Woodville United Methodist Church, a group of people called together for the purpose of knowing and making known the God who lights our world. When you come to visit you will discover that we are making God’s love known to our community and the world beyond.

At Woodville UMC, we believe that God longs to speak a word that has the power to forever change your life every time we come together. It may be in a worship service, a Bible study, a small group gathering or a fellowship dinner that we hear God’s message of hope proclaimed in both bold and subtle ways. Everything we do at Woodville UMC is designed to help people move to a place in their lives where they will be receptive to the word from God.

Announcement: WUMC Response to Covid-19

Woodville UMC is back to in-person worship! Sunday school classes are currently meeting in the Wesley Center, & Worship is in the Sanctuary @ 10:50. We ask that families sit together, with six feet between you and other families to help maintain social distancing. Also, we ask that you please wear a mask to protect you and others during this time. The church office remains open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  If you feel that is still unsafe for you to return to in person worship you are encouraged to tune in to worship services online through our Youtube channel or Facebok Page.

We do not cease being the church! Here are 3 ways you can help:

Pray -- Pray for those impacted by the virus as well as their families and loved ones. Also be in prayer for those working to offer healing and resources for their communities.

Generosity -- We encourage you to continue to take your faithful steps in generosity by giving your tithes and offerings either electronically through your bank, or by mailing them to P. O. Box 698, Woodville, TX 75979. This will enable the church to be the church.

Serve -- We often think of service as getting out and "doing something." Yet, at this time it's best for most people to stay home, especially if you are not feeling well. So, please consider how you can serve from home in new ways: such as calling to check on one another, sending notes of encouragement, and other ways in which the Holy Spirit may prompt you. If you are healthy and well enough to get out to assist in errands for those who cannot, please let the church office know.
